This upload contains all 41 episodes of the Old Time Radio program, The Sealtest Variety Theater. The show, starring Dorothy Lamour as host and performer, aired during the 1948-1949 season, began more as a variety program, but later shifted to focus more on comedy, especially after Eddie Bracken joined the cast. This program was essentially a successor to the 1947 summer replacement series hosted by Lamour, Front and Center. The dates, episode numbers and titles are believed to be correct based on available information, but any corrections are welcome. Jack Benny and Fibber McGee sold intimacy: recurring characters, in-jokes, a house style. The modern hang-out show is the same trick without the script.
